Yesterday, September 10, 2025, an evil, despicable, coward assassinated Charlie Kirk. I truly hope the person that did this is caught and faces the harshest punishment possible under our laws.
Everyone please pray for Charlie’s family. Despite what the left may tell you, prayers do matter!

OKLAHOMA REPUBLICAN PARTY 5TH CONGRESSIONAL DISTRICT
SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION
The 5th Congressional District of the Oklahoma Republican Party will be awarding post-secondary education scholarships. There will be two Grand Prize winners, who will each receive a scholarship of $1000, along with multiple other winners at smaller amounts. Awards will be distributed on Aug. 1, 2026.
The requirements to win are as follows.
1. Must live in Oklahoma’s 5th Congressional District
2. If the student is 18 years old or older, they must be a registered Republican
If the student is under the age of 18, at least one of their parents/guardians must be a registered Republican.
– A voter ID number will be required.
3. Complete and submit the application form by May 31, 2026
4. Submit a 500 word essay about one of these 3 topics:
a. Why I Am a Republican?
b. Why I Am Proud to be an American?
c. My Responsibilities as an American are…
5. Eligible students must be attending a form of higher education in the fall of 2026. Students must provide a class schedule before awards are distributed.

5th District Committee Members,
Linda and I are looking forward to seeing you this Saturday for our official 5th District Committee meeting as required by OKGOP State Party Rules.
The voting member of the 5th District are the County Chairman, County Vice-Chairman and the 2 elected 5th District Committee members from each county in the 5th District and the current District Chair and Vice-Chair. The County Chairmen and the Vice Chairmen do not have to live in the 5th District as they are representing the county in the 5th District.
The meeting will be this Saturday May 20, 2023 at the Republican State Party Headquarters 4031 N Lincoln Blvd, OKC, OK 73105 and will be a working lunch from 11:30 AM to 1 PM.
The purpose of the meeting is to discuss the changing political environment, and what we must do to meet those challenges. The District Chair and Vice-Chair will be giving their reports from the last four years.
The official business of the meeting is to elect the District Chairman and Vice-Chairman. Only the elected members of the District Committee will be allowed to vote.
I do plan to run for re-election as District Chair and Linda will be running for re-election as the District Vice-Chairman. With a Presidential District Convention to be held next year, Linda and I both feel that experience hosting a convention of this size would benefit from our experience.
Everyone in District we hope many will join us. Lunch will be provided.
